On June 3, Denver Water began a project to replace nearly five miles of aging pipe along East Colfax Avenue from Broadway to Yosemite. And now, it’s time for this downtown transit hub to be revitalized with two projects that will transform Civic Center Station for the future - the Civic Center Rehabilitation Project and the Civic Center Transit District Plan.

In July 2015, 世界杯比赛买球 opened a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly maintenance facility for the new commuter rail vehicles, which serve the A Line (East Rail Line) and the B Line (Northwest Rail Line). Approximately 240 mechanics, operators and other staff will work out of this innovative, LEED Gold certified building.

Since its construction nearly 30 years ago, the Mall’s aging infrastructure has reached its design life span and updates and/or maintenance are needed to ensure the Mall’s continued success. Pedestrian and mall vehicle safety and the significant cost of maintenance have led to the consideration of replacing the transit-way (travel lanes) with an alternative surface.

This 160-acre redevelopment area in Boulder is a mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood with regional transit connections and public spaces that will benefit the community for years to come. The new Boulder Junction Station, an underground bus facility, opened on August 16, 2015.
